• Riyadh Dry Port was operated for the first time in 1982.

• The dry port is located in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is well connected to the sea port in the Eastern Province located in Dammam.

• BAAS International Group (BIG) is the current contractor for the Riyadh Dry Port and has won a 10-year contract from the Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) to maintain, modernize and handle all container movements at the Riyadh Dry Port.

• Riyadh Dry Port is located in Al-Malaz – Exit 16 and is adjacent to the Riyadh Railway Station.

• The total area of the dry port is 918,639 square meters.

• It is the only port in Saudi Arabia, with an average dwell time of 5 days. Containers arriving at the port are inspected and ready for delivery within 5-7 days.
